Robert Hight, who won his first NHRA funny car championship on Saturday, was eliminated in the second round at Auto Club Raceway in Pomona on Sunday.Tim Wilkerson beat Hight to advance to the semifinals. Wilkerson will face Mike Neff.
The other semifinal will pit Ashley Force Hood, the top qualifier, against Ron Capps.
