Kyle Mohan, who lives in Long Beach and went to Lakewood High School, had to build race cars in secret when he was a teenager. He didn't want his parents to know about his desire to become a race car driver, even though his dad has never missed a Grand Prix of Long Beach.
Mohan, one of the Formula Drift drivers competing this weekend, will be driving a brand Mazda RX8 as part of three-car team with Conrad Grunewald and Samuel Hubinette.
